Growing up, my family was known for the game warden truck parked outside our house. Spending my childhood on road trips, fishing, hunting, and visiting my grandparents’ farm in Oregon meant I had a lot of time listening to my Dad’s adventures about arresting bad guys and being outdoors. I’ve always admired my Dad’s work with the DFW. I plan to study Agricultural Economics and ultimately become an independent farmer. This scholarship will ease the financial pressure on my family as my twin brother and I enter college at the same time. I am incredibly grateful. Thank you so much.
