I am a 2024 graduate from Sonora Highschool. Growing up in Moccasin, I was surrounded by a hardworking and close-knit community. My father who is a co-manager at the Moccasin Creek Fish Hatchery and my mother have always been an inspiration. I wouldn’t be where I’m at today without them. This fall, I begin studying Computer Science and Engineering at UC Merced, in hopes to find a career in that field. I’m excited to grow, and pursue a higher education at UC Merced. College is expensive and Receiving this Scholarship will lift some financial burden off my family shoulders.
